DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austasch Dienst)

The grants are for visits of up to ten months to Germany. The research visit may be split into two parts if necessary, however, in such cases no extra travel allowance can be granted. Open to “well-advanced PhD students (i.e. to those who have already completed at least one year's research at the time of application), postdoctoral research workers, and lecturers at the start of their university career.” Students registered for the degrees of MA, MSc and MPhil cannot be considered until they have been upgraded to PhD registration.
